About

My name is Christopher (Juhyeong) Jin, a high school student, pursuing to study business (particularly in accounting and finance) as well as economics at the university.

My previous debates and projects at secondary schools have enabled me to build my critical thinking skill and show my passion for accounting, finance, economics, and data analysis.

I demonstrated strong initiative and teamwork abilities by leading my team to win the economics debate hosted by the school. The discussion covered the issues and limitations of the Korean economic system and included predictions of economic and social problems that would arise. It was fascinating to analyze the effects of micro factors such as increasing household debts, M&A of corporations, and the housing market on the macroeconomy.

My articles covering economic and social issues on my blog effectively portray my enthusiasm for economics and finance. This allows me to deepen my understanding of the subject as well as provide a platform to share my knowledge. By applying economic and financial theories, I predicted the course of the current UK economic crisis. It was interesting to evaluate the detrimental effects of Prime Minister Truss’ policies on inflation and Leverage Driven Investment, which eventually led to the Death Spiral Crisis.

One thing that makes me unique is that I am a detail-oriented individual pursuing perfectionism. It is impossible for human beings to be perfect, though I strive to be, which allows me to complete my works effectively.
